Toronto At A Glance

The Beautiful City of Toronto

Toronto is an ever-growing metropolitan city which ranks the 4th largest in North America.

With stats like that, it is no surprise Toronto attracts new residents from all over the world, and continues to grow as one of Canada's premier cities to live and work.

Toronto is known as a multicultural haven. In a 15 minute walk down the Danforth area you will spot Greek restaurants which still utilize "mothers old recipe", take a culinary trip and try one of the many world class Ethiopian dishes, or see what mystery awaits in one of the thrift/wares shops. Head to the downtown core and you will find the Entertainment District, which is home to famous restaurants, clubs, arenas such as the The Rogers Centre, and we cannot forget about the world renowned CN Tower. Just a few blocks away you can find the hustle and bustle of the Financial District which is home to Canada's largest banks and institutions. Looking for more entertainment options check out Yonge Street and the world famous Eaton Centre!

We have only scraped the surface on what Toronto has to offer. In a multicultural city that is heavily influenced by openness and acceptance, people from all walks of lights can feel free to be exactly who they are.

Homes and Condos

As Toronto grows so does the Real Estate investment opportunities. Average home prices in Toronto have continued to grow, and we have seen a 17.4% increase in residential sales over the course of 2019. Of course, prices will vary depending on area and current market trends. One thing to always remember is a home is an investment for you, your family and your personal assets. Condos are also on the rise, and as more are constructed throughout the city it gives people an opportunity to own at a fraction of the cost. Cost of 1 bedroom condos in the Residential Toronto areas have been on the rise averaging $450,000 to $600,000. There is no better time to buy or sell than right now as prices remain sustainable allowing buyers to take advantage of a great investment opportunity, and sellers a chance to sell at an optimal value. Economy and Employment

Toronto is the largest contributor to the Canadian economy as it contributes roughly 20% to national GDP. Known as one of the most multicultural cities in the world, Toronto is a hub for business, distribution, technological, financial, and industrial opportunities. From a bustling entertainment industry to employment with important business institutions, Toronto is a place where opportunity is abundant and experienced individuals are required for the wide array of positions that this city offers.

Toronto's economy is hot right now, so take advantage of the opportunities and the wonderful quality of life that this city can provide.

Transportation and Commute

As any city with a large population, roads do become congested at certain times throughout the day. Luckily, Toronto has invested in the TTC and Subway stations which, for a small fee, can you get you to any part of the city. There are many streetcars and buses that run seven days a week allowing for smooth and reliable transit. The TTC system is far from perfect, but it has become a major focus for the Toronto government with plans of expansion to continue.

If you do decide to drive, there are many apps such as Waze or Google Maps which will help you navigate the quickest route to your destination. Parking in Toronto has expanded in the downtown core allowing drivers to park their vehicle safely and securely.

School and Education

The General standard for education in Toronto is high which explains why many University and College's have attracted attention from international students. Students can rest assured that they will be trained by knowledgeable professors and industry professionals. There is a wide array of program options when it comes to selecting a course, so remember to choose carefully and complete your research before making that final decision.

Primary and Secondary schools provide a high level of education and prepare those for College/University. In Toronto, there are many Public, Private, Catholic and French Immersion schools for parents and children to consider. Interestingly, statistics show that many Public schools provide the same level of education as Private schooling.
